Wetherbee Electric Completes Installation Of Five LACT Units In The SCOOP Play In Quarter 4

Oklahoma City, OK, December 2019 - Wetherbee Electric completed the installation of five LACT Units for our oil and gas partners in the SCOOP play during the fourth quarter of 2019. The SCOOP is located in Oklahoma’s Anadarko Basin, which has some of the thickest, highest quality shale reservoirs in the country. LACT Units are essential to our upstream partners for efficient extraction. Without them, crews have to manually load crude into the pipeline, which costs our partners time and money.

A challenge that many upstream companies face is getting their well sites up and running on a short timeline. Once a site is ready for fracking, the LACT Unit needs to be operational as well. Wetherbee is familiar with the challenges of getting new wells up and running on a tight schedule and how essential it is to our partner’s businesses. Since we were able to install these five LACT Units in a timely manner, our partners were able to keep their businesses running efficiently through quarter four.

Wetherbee works with the schedules of our partners. According to Jeff Scott, Vice President of Wetherbee Electric, “Whether you need installation during regular business hours, on the weekend, or over a holiday, we can accommodate your schedule to get your LACT Unit installed.” Wetherbee has been helping its business partners in Oklahoma succeed for over 100 years.

Wetherbee Electric is a contractor that has been proudly serving the people of Oklahoma and beyond for 120 years with current projects in the parking, municipal, and industrial sectors.
