Wetherbee Electric Completes Oklahoma County Parking Garage

Oklahoma City, OK, December 2019 - Wetherbee Electric has completed work on the Oklahoma County Metro 1 and Metro 2 Garages on the corner of Robert S. Kerr and Hudson in downtown Oklahoma City. Metro 1 is a garage accepting both contract and cash patrons. It is frequently utilized as a convenient parking location for those serving jury duty. Metro 2 is for contract parking only.

Wetherbee installed 18 new parking lanes to assist in the flow of traffic in and out of the facility. The garage features two free exit gates and two Pay on Foot stations. The Oklahoma County Garage is presently a cash-only parking facility with ATMs available for drivers. The facility now accommodates Metro Parking contract cards for customers who purchase monthly parking rather than the previous transponders.

The garage also features Signal-Tech signage at the entrances and exits to help patrons find their way in and out of the facility with ease. Of the updates, Wetherbee Electric Project Manager Jesse Rogers said, “The updates to the Oklahoma County Garage make it a seamless experience for patrons who want to enter and exit the parking facility quickly.” Wetherbee has been partnering with businesses and individuals in Oklahoma City and the surrounding area for over 100 years to help them create and revitalize their facilities.
